Beliefs

At Park Church we love the Bible – God’s inerrant word inspired by the Holy Spirit (2 Timothy 3:16-17) – and we desire to submit all of our beliefs and all of our lives to its truth and guidance without any compromise due to the spirit of the age in the culture around us.

Our doctrine is in this order: Christian, Protestant, Reformed and Evangelical. God has revealed himself in Jesus Christ and through the Gospel calls sinners to repentance and faith that they may have eternal life in Christ.

As a church plant of the Orthodox Presbyterian Church, we embrace the summary of Christian faith in the historic creeds like the Apostles Creed, but the fullest form of that Christian doctrine is found in the Westminster Confession of Faith and Catechisms which we have chosen to adopt as doctrinal standards for the selection of all future leaders and the ministry they will have at Park Church. You can find links to our Confessions and Catechisms here.

While we have detailed doctrinal commitments to guard the health of the church, what you will find at Park Church is a commitment to clear preaching and teaching of the Gospel of Jesus Christ so that all those who love Christ can find a spiritual home with us for worship, Christian growth and service to the Lord.
